Pizza from Liz

Liz did it again! More pizza. Gosh we are spoiled!! And we love it!! Stella and Addie both loved the pizza. Stella and Addie both adore Liz. "Is Liz home?" "Can I go see your kitty cats Liz?" Addie says, "Liz home?" Now I get, "Mommy you stay home and go on a date with Daddy!" The relationship the three of them is amazing! We love Liz!!

When the girls get together, I always like to get them matching PJs. Here the girls have their summer jams on. Sitting with Mr. Puppy, Elmos and a happy black poodle. The girls love each other!! Can't wait to get them back together again.

Stellllllllaaaaa......

Poor Addie, with Stella moving on and going to school, Addie was a little sad this morning. She kept asking for Stellllllaaa. Addie is aware that Stella is in school and that we will go back and get her. It's so cute on how much they love each other.

First Day of School...First Day of School!!!

Today Stella started pre-school. Yes just like Nemo, "FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!" She was so excited for school. She told us last night that, "you going to drop me off and I'm not going to cry!" Well today, she did tear up just a bit, and so did Mommy. Stella is attending Precious Preschool and has a fairly small class. Only six little monkeys are in her class. Here is the kicker.....she's the only girl! HA HA. Here teacher's name is Mrs. Nakashima. We are keeping with tradition and took Stella's first day picture in front of the fireplace. Robert used to get his picture taken in front of his childhood fireplace. Doesn't she look like such a big girl? Her backpack is bigger than she is...what's inside??? A change of clothes and that's it. It's mainly to bring school work home in.

Bubbles

One of our favorite neighbors brought over a big bubble kit and made someone's evening. Miss Stella and Miss Addie had a blast with the bubble kit that Liz brought them. I love this picture of Addie looking at Liz. The girls love Liz sans bubbles.

Future Pizza Maker

Stella loves hanging out with her Uncle Gary. She is guaranteed to be a family pizza maker. Speaking of pizza our good friend Liz brought us home made pizza on Saturday. She made an excellent corn, zucchini and Ricotta Salada pie on a nice wheat crust. Give us one more year and we'll start to turn some out too.

Are they twins?

Stella and Addie are starting to look so much alike, we as parents even have difficulty telling them apart sometimes...in photos that is. We spent a day in Campbell at the weekly farmers' market. Stella got her face and arms painted. Addie had hearts on her forearm and leg - she was mesmerized.

Magical Plugs no more!!

Flayra left for Brazil for TWO WEEKS. Two very full weeks....we are talking 16 days here. When Flayra left on Thursday she took four pacifiers in a little bag with her. We have been telling Stella that her paci's...(the little plastic and silicon magical plugs) were on the way to Brazil. We never thought it would be so easy, but it was. No more pacis for little Miss Stella. We told her that the little boys and girls of Brazil needed them. Thursday night was a little hard, but she doesn't even ask for it. Little does she know it, we kept one little pink paci. I'll pull it out in a few years and show it to her. Instead of sucking on that magical plug, Stella has taken up blowing on this old trumpet. She can really get it to go!!!

Time for Teeth x2

So Chippy & Chompy are both teething. Molars!! They are both getting them. Last night was not a pretty night for Mommy Bear. Addie was up at midnight, 3 AM, 4 AM, 5 AM and 6 AM. We finally got up at 7 AM and decided to stay up. I knew we were in trouble when she started to cry and cry...then spew. Both Stella and Addie are good at getting sick when they want to. This time it was a little funny. Grandma Annie gave Addie a small pocket size Elmo. I was holding it in my hand when she spewed on me and little Elmo. As I tossed it to the floor (into the puddle of spew) Addie screams ELMO, ELMO, ELMO. Mind you she is still getting sick a bit. Addie and Elmo have this thing going on. Addie will scream Elmo's name. What's with this monster kids like? It is actually very funny. So here I am exhausted. No shower, no sleep and then Flayra walks through the door....Miss. Addie all of a sudden is all better. It was like my evening never happened. So weird.

Baby Ella and Emma joined us on Saturday at my Cousin Mary & Mark's house for some Cinco de Mayo fun! As soon as we arrived, Ella & Emma hit the lounge chair for a little sun! Don't worry they had sunscreen on.

Little Miss Stella chipped her front tooth today. See what happens when you are a goofy little monkey. We have to find a dentist. Stella is very excited to go see the dentist. Hopefully this gets her into the habit of taking better care of her teeth.

Get Those Weeds Off My Pizza

Stella loves pizza. Last night I had warmed a piece of leftover Via Mia 'za and cut it into manageable strips. Stella started to eat but then, like any normal child, began picking bits off the top. Susan asked Stella what she was doing to which she replied, "I'm picking the weeds off my pizza."

Earlier in the day, we strolled liesurely through Los Gatos and stopped at our new favorite yogurt haunt, Cafe Delatti. Of course, Stella loves the yogurt too.

Bye Bye Paci

It's a big day for Stella. Our garbage man, "Kit", is now the proud owner of Stella's paci. It was her idea and we went along with it. Mama had a tear in her eye (maybe it was a raindrop or two) as the truck pulled away with our garbage and Stella's paci on board.

Daddy says "Yippee!!"
